🔹 1. Login to WordPress Dashboard

• Go to: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

🔹 2. Go to Pages or Posts

• Navigate to:

  • Posts → All Posts or

  • Pages → All Pages

• Open the page or post you want to optimize.

🔹 3. Scroll to the Rank Math SEO Panel

• Usually located below the content editor (or click the “Rank Math” tab if you’re using the block editor).

• You’ll see the Preview Snippet Editor.

🔹 4. Click “Edit Snippet”

• A pop-up opens allowing you to:

  • Edit SEO Title (this is the meta title)

  • Edit Meta Description

  • Edit Permalink (URL slug)

🔹 5. Customize the Fields

• SEO Title: Use primary keywords, keep it under 60 characters.

  • Example: Best Oahu Wedding Photographer | Melena Werneth Photography

• Meta Description: Write a compelling summary using keywords (under 160 characters).

  • Example: Looking for a professional Oahu wedding photographer? Capture your moments with Melena Werneth – trusted by couples across Hawaii.

🔹 6. Use Variables (Optional)

• Rank Math allows you to insert variables like:

  • %title%, %sitename%, %excerpt%

• Example title using variables: %title% | %sitename%

🔹 7. Save Changes

• Click Update (top right corner of the post/page editor).

• Choose a post type (Posts, Pages, etc.)

• Configure global title formats (applied to new or unedited pages)
